Node configuration

File locations

The node searches for configuration files in this order:

/etc/jackadi/node.yaml (system-wide, recommended for production)
$HOME/.jackadi/node.yaml (user-specific, good for development)
./node.yaml (current directory)

Custom configuration file:

node --config /path/to/custom-node.yaml

Environment variables

All configuration options can be set via environment variables using the prefix JACKADI_NODE_ and converting to UPPER_SNAKE_CASE:

Command-line options

The node provides comprehensive command-line configuration:

Custom DNS resolution

For environments with complex networking, Jackadi supports custom DNS resolution:

node --manager-address=manager.lan \
